The Task Force will have 23 members and will submit recommendations to the State Bar Board of Trustees by the close of 2019.

This new task force is in response to the Legal Market Landscape Report, commissioned by the California State Bar and prepared by Professor William Henderson, Indiana University Maurer School of Law. The report conducted an analysis of the current state of legal services evaluate the need for new technologies and business models that could enhance access to justice.

“I’m extremely excited about this opportunity,” Raby said, “and look forward to brainstorming with my fellow members. Increasing access to justice is essential to our future and I welcome this new collaboration.”
