The Florida Justice Technology Center (FJTC) works with legal aid and pro bono programs, the judiciary and the court system, clerks of court, lawyers, law schools, corporations, community partners, and others to develop technology products and services that expand access to justice. We facilitate the development of streamlined, user-friendly systems to address the needs of those facing civil legal issues such as divorce, child custody, foreclosure, landlord-tenant disputes, home ownership, veterans’ benefits and elder affairs.

FJTC is currently partnered with the Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice’s Access Committee, the Clay County Clerk’s Office, the Clay County Family Court Services program, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, and Three Rivers Legal Services to pilot a triage system designed to help those looking for legal help get connected to appropriate and meaningful resources in their community.

Building partnerships between FJTC and all members of the Florida access to justice community is the key to our success.
